Yesterday was Mother’s Day. Every year it looks different because life keeps changing. We need to adapt to the changes in life but still honor the traditions we choose to follow.
Personally, I had a great Mother’s Day where I had the option to choose to work. I made the conscious decision to not work, not think about work, and it was a much needed respite from the normal days. Of course that also means that it moved me doing laundry from Sunday to Monday.
It would have been amazing to have all three of my kids with me, but with the middle away in college and with the Covid-19 lock-down, a phone call and online chats will have to do. School is important, even more so at the college level. I am proud of all three of my kiddos.
Mother’s Day was a chance for me to recharge. A much needed recharge of the internal batteries. I know I had been neglecting my self care and I’m glad that I stepped back and realized that.
So what is coming up? First getting Chemical Attraction out and then there will be much more to come. I am also close to launching my other site Fireball Studio for my non-fiction work and my consulting with authors looking to publishing and help reach their writing and publishing goals.
I’m also adding a new feature to this site. To any free works, I will be adding a widget to Buy me a coffee. It’s a way to leave me a “tip” for any work that you might think is worth it. If you like something, buy me a coffee!
