After a very quiet Easter yesterday, it’s back to work. It was a nice weekend and it is so great to open up the windows and let some fresh air in.
So today, I am grateful for my phone. I know it sounds a bit lame, but when you step back, it is amazing what our smart phones can do. People run their businesses off just their phones. The amount of power that our phones have is staggering. There was less computing power to send a man to the moon then there is in our phone.
I personally have a Samsung Note 8 and I know I don’t use it to it’s capacity. I’m still learning what I can do with it. I hope to have it for a bit longer but have started thinking about what I want will want to replace it with when the time comes. Probably another Samsung. I’ve done the iPhone before and it was good, but I really do like the Android system better now.
Having the Kindle app is amazing. I always have a book on hand. I can access my site on my phone too. There is so much I do with my phone and it is almost always by my side
I do like to take some time and step away from my phone too. Being attached to the device. I love that it is also my alarm clock but hate that it sits on my bedside table and is usually the first thing I look at when I wake up. Even worse, look at it when I wake up at 4am (for no reason). I know that’s not great for me and my sleeping, but it is what it is. I usually fall asleep pretty quickly once I put it down.
As we enter a new week of the shutdown due to the Corona virus, it is nice to take a step back and think about what we are grateful for. Thank you Jenn for the idea!
