My intention was to post a short work today, but I don’t think that is going to happen today. Maybe this weekend, but not today.
Why do you ask? Because life is funny. When plans are made, life can find a way to throw them off-kilter sometimes.
With the whole Corona Virus lockdown that is going on, I was given the opportunity to work from home. I am very lucky that I can do this and I appreciate that I can. Yes, I am going to miss being with my co-workers. All of them are amazing, but I feel it is in the best interest of myself, my family, and everyone around me to work from home for the next few weeks. I can do everything I need to do from my set up here at home and rejoice that I have a MUCH easier commute now.
I am very sad that they shut down hockey for the next few weeks. They were on such a good streak and I hope that the Flyers can keep that momentum when this is all over. Either a shorter schedule or a longer season, I really hope the playoffs happen. Playoff hockey is a different beast and I love it!
So what I am doing to “prepare” for this outbreak. Nothing really besides work from home and do my best to live life. It will be interesting to see how life will be different when this is all over. I look forward to that sigh of relief is all over. I hope that people will learn to at least wash their hands more, with soap.
